Dr. Weinstein serves as CEO of Capital Digestive Care. A graduate of Northwestern University and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Michael Weinstein, MD enjoys a busy clinical practice while continuing his interest in patient and physician advocacy as a member of the American Gastroenterological Association Governing Board. He is active in his community and his specialty through numerous medical society memberships including the Digestive Health Physician Association and the Maryland Patient Care and Access Coalition. He has served on the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation sponsors board and leads Capital Digestive Care’s involvement in CCF activities. Dr. Weinstein has been consistently recognized by his peers as a “Top Doctor” in Washingtonian magazine. He is married with three sons, and two grandsons, so his personal interests revolve around a love of sports, wine and cooking.
